Waurn Ponds Home.

The first Stage of this new home saw Interiors By Honor engaged in decorating a Formal Sitting Room.  The clients advised they required everything new for this room as they had decided not to use any of their old furniture and emphasised the look was to carry the traditional Edwardian exterior of the home inside.  They also had a love of Antiques!

  I set about sourcing fabrics and designing Window Treatments, Custom made Sofas, Scatter cushions & Armchairs.  A floor rug was added to the carpet, sitting under the ottoman coffee table to create layers.  I found a large tapestry to sit above the side board for the wall opposite the fireplace.

This was a fun project as it allowed me to wander thru Antique shops looking for the right accessories & furniture pieces, something I never tire of.  And the clients were thrilled with the finished room. Now it’s onto the next stage of their home! I can’t wait to share the next stage from this home,
